Chief Justice of the United States John Roberts sat down with ABC News Legal Correspondent Jan Crawford Greenburg for his first network television interview on a stage before 3,600 spectators at the University of Miami on November 13, 2006. During their conversation, the “Chief,” as he is known among his fellow Justices, told Greenburg the behind-the-scenes story of his nomination and offered a glimpse at the inner workings of the U.S. Supreme Court.
